What’s better than starting your day with a “I can’t make this at home” breakfast? 😎
Mothership has it.
We traveled to Connecticut for business and wanted more than a hotel meal.
The staff is friendly, helpful and eager to make your visit memorable.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ are not enough to describe how much we enjoyed our Mothership experience.
Do NOT leave without selecting some of their incredible, fresh-baked items! Later in the day, you will be happy you did.
Sunday brunch with the family is a delicious and convenient treat at Mothership. There’s a bit of a wait due to popularity, but the staff does an excellent job of moving that along. You can play games as you wait, order coffee, it’s excellent for children and grandparents. I’ll emphasize the food as being better than I expected, fresh ingredients, excellent hot sauce! Although the food doesn’t require any extra flavor.
Ordered a strawberry pudding, a latte, an Idaho Girl skillet, and a greek omelette. Overall good food but the Idaho girl came out a little bit greasy imo. Nice quiet ambience with friendly staff. Parking at the front is very little so you have to park at the back.
Inviting and comfortable decor, friendly servers and delicious food! A must try if in the area and looking for a casual breakfast or lunch. The bakery is a BIG plus. Everything looked and smelled amazing!!
I love coming here!. I travel over 30 mins to this awesome lunch cafe. I'm lucky my sister lives in Danbury and I can visit here when I'm in the area. My favorite dish is the Hot to Trot Skillet! 2 eggs, roasted vegetables, black beans, chipotle, adobo sweet potatoes, pepperjack, and my fav beef short ribs!! Or you can get bacon, sausage, ham or tofu. Excellent and friendly table service.
Love the presentation of the food and drinks. Well priced and good tasting food with friendly service. As for the food, tacos were my favorite and very tasty with great presentation. The burrito was big and filling. My mocha coffee was delicious. And the rest of the food was great. Plenty of options like gluten free or vegan. Overall we will come back to try everything else.
Great place for breakfast or lunch. Retro look. Creative dishes. Fresh baked goods like carrot cake, cookies, and bread pudding.
This is not basic breakfast. Excellent food. Must try. I got the Hot to Trot skillet. I had a bite of a special biscuits and gravy that was not your traditional, but excellent nonetheless. Very very good 👍
Cute, quaint, local, well-done, homemade. This was the perfect place for us to stop for lunch on our road trip. I could only hope that every town has a small little spot like this. The food was delicious, options for everyone, and they even served cocktails. We got the BLT and veggie wrap, great that there was an option to include tofu for no extra cost! We also got the chimichurri fries, highly recommend. Housemade yucatan syrup in coffee is great!!! I wish I could’ve tried all the homemade teas and syrups. Did I mention the artisan jewelry store inside the cafe?
If you love eating and supporting local, this is the place for you. If you drink kombucha, you’ll like their vibe. If you’re vegan/vegetarian, check this out. I’ve never been to Danbury, CT but this seemed like a hidden gem.
